"Ana, it's time to eat!" her mother shouted desperately, with a hint of irritation. "Ana, come here immediately!"
A freckled little girl ran tirelessly, darting back and forth, hunting wild animals that hid behind stones in the garden. She had a strategy that almost never failed her: she approached silently, like a feline stalking its prey. She didn't want to frighten the wicked monsters; she wanted to catch them red-handed. She crept closer little by little, in a barely perceptible movement. Sometimes she had to cross rushing rivers that stood in her way; however, nothing stopped this intrepid adventurer. Ana got up and ran toward the house. Her mother was waiting for her at the door, hands on her hips, and the little girl knew that was the alarm signal.
"How many times do I have to call you to come here? You know I don't like you playing in puddles; you get all covered in them. It's always the same when it rains. Look at you! Wash your hands right away."
"Yes, Mom... You little wild beasts, don't celebrate too soon. I'll be back with supplies, we'll conquer new horizons, and we'll finish off the evil ones!" Ana thought as she entered the house, ready to carry out the orders of the general in command—her mother...
